Hello Again!
I know I already posted about last week today but I would also like to update on what happened today during week nine! Today was a crazy hectic day today we learned how to use Wordpress from someone from the library. Wordpress doesn't seem to complicated but I have run into a few challenges so far but I am excited to keep on pushing through. We also learned more on Dreamweaver but I definitely feel more confident with Wordpress. Dreamweaver is a little complex for myself. Today I also finally finished my garage band project so all I have to do for the remainder of class is my website and lesson plan! Today has been a crazy day but a very productive day!

Hello Bloggers,
Last week in ED270 I had the chance do to my very first coding! It was quite the exciting experience and I even got the chance to code using Elsa from frozen and play a combat game. I honestly had never thought that coding could be that easy. It was something that I had never tried and honestly thought was extremely difficult. But now my thoughts have changed. I now realize that coding is something that anyone could do if they put their mind to it. I also got pretty close to finishing my garage band project and am hoping to finish the project next week.

Hello Bloggers!
Last week was a crazy week in ED270 as I learned so much and had a lot that I needed to complete. Last week I finally finished my photoshop project after some helpful tips from Denvy. While it was frustrating I believe that learning how to operate photoshop was invaluable to myself as I can use it in the classroom and on a personal basis. My group finished our video on recycling and sent it in. The video project was pretty straight forward and simple but I had fun making the video as it was a great learning experience. Additionally, my group made a short video using Imovie which was a boatload of fun. Our video revolved around figuring out a basic math problem that ended up becoming very complex. The video was so complex we didn't finish every scene but we had a great experience doing that and now I have the knowledge to to successfully make a video on Imovie. Finally last week we started our google earth project. The project seems very fun as we get to put five places that our apart of our education. While we just started I'm looking forward to completing the project and thinking about the places in education that have affected me the most.

Hello,
Sorry for the late post but yesterday I had my second ED 270 class and boy was it a crazy class. Yesterday I tackled photo shop for the first time in my life and learned how to tell the difference between real and faked photos. It was something new and challenging that I never thought would be so difficult. The assignment required us to make a collage using three pictures one that we gathered from the internet, one from a camera, and one taken from a scanner. This process would prove to be difficult for me as I have never approached photo shop before. Yet, after some frustration I ended up completing a good portion of the assignment and now I all have left to do is get a picture from the scanner. Even though it was frustrating photo shop is a necessary skill that I am going to need to learn in case the need ever arose in class.

Hello World,
Today I have logged on to start this wonderful blog and tell you all about my great journey through ED 270 at Western Oregon University. In my first class today I met some wonderful people and learned a lot about their lives. I learned how to set up a gmail amount, the site BigHugeLabs.com, and the growth of the WEB. Setting up a gmail is a simple yet vital thing in the world we live in today, because having a active email is essential to staying connected. When exploring BigHugeLabs.com I learned about all the different sites that are available for nearly anything on the web for free. I also explored the site website and found some wonderful recourses I had not known about before. Learning about the growth of the web is incredible as it's crazy to see how far the internet has come. From being a few pages to read, to being as complicated and interrogate as it is today.
